It is highly recommended to rent a car to feel free moving around the area and the island. Parking in a private garage right underneath the house is very easy. Important Notes About Your Stay 1. Tropical Climate & Insects: Tenerife is a warm island with a natural ecosystem. Large insects like cucarachas (palmetto bugs) may occasionally enter even the cleanest homes. This is not a hygiene issue - they are native to the region. Regular pest control is done, but 100% prevention is impossible. 2. Noise & Neighborhood: This is a vibrant tourist area with lively streets and neighbors. Expect typical sounds of island life (music, chatter, etc.), especially in evenings. For absolute quiet, consider remote mountain villas instead. 3. Air Conditioning: Many homes in Tenerife (including this one) rely on natural breezes and fans.
